YOUTH TECHNICAL DIRECTOR - FEMALE

Amanda Marino

Lugarno FC is proud to welcome Amanda Marino as our first-ever Female Technical Director, leading female player development through our Football Focus and NextGen programs in Season 2026.

Amanda is a force in the St George football community—a coach, mentor, and educator whose impact reaches across Football NSW and Football St George. She’s a cornerstone of the Female Coach Mentor Program and a Coach Educator Tutor, helping shape the next generation of coaches with both precision and heart.

Her coaching and mentoring have guided countless players to representative levels, including JDL, NPL, and state squads. She’s has also coached and mentored players that are part of Football NSW’s Talent Support Program.

Currently on track to earn her A Licence, Amanda is set to become one of the most accredited female coaches in the region—and we’re thrilled to be part of that journey.

After reviewing our revamped player development framework, Amanda stepped into the role with purpose. Her appointment marks a turning point for Lugarno FC, not just in how we develop players, but in how we champion female football. She’ll also lead our strategic push into Football St George’s Premier Women’s League competition.

Amanda’s coaching philosophy is simple and powerful: play attractive, intelligent football. Empower coaches. Inspire players.

Her sessions build skill and confidence. Her mentorship brings clarity and care. And her mission is bold and visionary:

Get girls down to Gannons Park. Let them kick a ball. Watch them fall in love with the game.

Amanda’s arrival reflects Lugarno FC’s deep commitment to inclusive pathways at grassroots level, coaching excellence, and community-first football. We’re proud to have her on board—and excited for the future she’s helping us shape.
