We are very excited to announce the appointment of Dean Harriton as the junior Technical Director for the up and coming season at Lugarno FC. Dean has a rich long 25 year history of coaching football at the highest level in the National Premier League with both youth and Seinor teams alike. He has also spent close to 10 years as the TD at Connells Point Rovers, where he was overseeing all footballing matters. Dean has also coached for just over ten years in the FNSW SAP program at clubs like St George City, St George FC and Sutherland Sharks FC.
Dean’s coaching passions have always been to help aspiring footballers become the best they can be by providing them with the most up to date, challenging and fun exercises/drills on and off the park.
Dean is a Sports Scientist, he has completed his masters in Exercise Sports Science, majoring in Strength and Conditioning, Bachelor in Sport Studies majoring in coaching and a diploma in Sports Nutrition. Dean is an academic lecturer and lectures in High Performance, Sports Nutrition, Sports Psychology. Dean also has his AFC C Coaching License.
More recently, Dean has had a lengthy stint at The Sydney FC program in Endeavour Sports High school as their head of strength and Conditioning, and also coached at Sutherland Sharks FC in The SAP program and in NPL 1 last year.
Finally Dean has been playing football in this association for 30 years and has been a influential member of arguably the most successful Premier League Mens team in the last 30 years having made the Grand final 12 years running winning 6 titles.
We look forward to the 2023 season with Dean as our Junior Technical Director.
